Oncology Pharmacist – Clinical Trials (Part‑time)

About the role
We are seeking a part‑time Oncology Pharmacist to join our growing pharmacy team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality pharmacy services to cancer patients while supporting an expanding portfolio of clinical trials and compassionate access programs.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare parenteral cytotoxic and non‑cytotoxic medications in an isolator.
- Conduct medication reconciliation and clinical reviews of oncology protocols.
- Provide drug information, education and counselling to patients.
- Coordinate clinical trial and compassionate access programmes, including site selection and initiation visits.
- Maintain inventory, dispense prescriptions in line with PBS regulations, and ensure IP accountability.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and the Oncology AMS program.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (or higher) with current AHPRA registration.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain patient‑centred focus.
Required skills
- Aseptic manufacturing techniques.
- Experience with dispensing software.
- Proficiency in MOSAIQ Oncology Informatic software.
- Operation of pharmacy isolators for cytotoxic compounding.
