OCM – HCM Consultant

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking an experienced HCM Consultant to join its Workforce Transformation practice in Sydney. The role focuses on guiding clients through HR transformation, leveraging technology and best practices to improve workforce operations and employee experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Create employee experience strategies, develop journeys, personas and roadmaps to digitise HR service delivery.
• Deliver end‑to‑end HR transformation projects and HR Service Transformation solutions at global scale.
• Design target operating models and HR processes to operationalise client HR strategies.
• Support implementation and adoption of HR cloud and HXM technologies from hire to retire.
• Provide advisory on talent marketplace, skill‑based organisation, learning agility, upskilling and reskilling initiatives.
• Facilitate HR workshops, craft presentations and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to practice development, pre‑sales activities and go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Lead project teams and mentor junior consultants.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder management, problem‑solving and resilience.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C2) and the country’s official language(s).
• Experience in gathering, validating and communicating data for diverse audiences.
• Domain expertise across the hire‑to‑retire employee cycle, including process documentation and SOP creation.
• Ability to translate employee experience needs into business requirements for digital HR platforms.

Required skills

• Implementation experience with HCM cloud systems such as Oracle, SuccessFactors or Workday.
• Familiarity with HR ticketing/workflow tools like ServiceNow HRSD or Salesforce.
• Project and change management for HR transformation initiatives.
• Facilitation of HR improvement workshops and creation of recommendation reports.
