New Business Sales Executive

About the role

The Account Executive, Strategic Accounts will drive acquisition of high‑growth, net‑new strategic accounts for Autodesk. You will prospect, position Autodesk’s value proposition, and lead the full sales cycle from outreach to closure while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead outbound prospecting to acquire high‑growth accounts and secure new logo opportunities.
• Articulate Autodesk’s differentiators and value proposition to win competitive deals.
• Develop opportunities for new and re‑engaged accounts, guiding junior staff through the sales process.
• Create customer‑facing materials, lead QBRs, and ensure high‑quality communication throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with Business Development Representatives, sales specialists, technical specialists, and partners to shape solutions and accelerate deals.
• Ensure smooth post‑sale handoff to set the foundation for long‑term growth.

Required profile

• 4+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technology or SaaS, focused on new‑business acquisition.
• Proven success in outbound prospecting and closing strategic, high‑growth accounts.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience mentoring and coaching sales team members.
• Rigorous CRM discipline with data‑driven pipeline management.
