National Account Manager – Construction

About the role

Selleys, a leading Australian manufacturer of adhesives, sealants and fillers, is seeking a National Account Manager for the construction sector. You will drive growth across key national accounts, align channel strategy with execution, and act as a strategic partner for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute channel strategy and develop prioritized national account plans.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships with head‑office teams and key customer accounts.
• Identify and drive growth opportunities across customers, categories and markets.
• Own revenue, volume and profitability targets for key accounts.
• Lead commercial negotiations, customer deals and promotional programmes.
• Maintain product and technical expertise to position Selleys as a strategic partner.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing national or key accounts, preferably in construction, building materials or trade channels.
• Highly structured and strategic with ability to turn plans into execution.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Confident negotiator with experience leading complex customer agreements.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue and margin growth.
• Data‑driven mindset able to translate insights into action.
• Degree‑qualified in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related discipline.
