Municipal Supervisor

About the role

Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking a hands-on and reliable Municipal Supervisor to keep its community's parks, reserves and public spaces safe, clean and well presented. The role supervises, mentors and organises the municipal team at a community level while working alongside them on the ground, in a remote setting. It is a permanent, full-time position based in Numbulwar, Northern Territory.

Key responsibilities

• Parks and gardens maintenance: mowing, playgrounds, sports grounds, planting, weed and pest control and reticulation repairs
• Household waste collection, litter and hazardous waste disposal, and maintenance of the waste management facility
• Operate and maintain Council plant and vehicles, supervise daily vehicle inspections and paperwork
• Ensure the team completes hazard and incident reports and submits time and attendance records on time
• Report daily to the Council Services Coordinator

Required profile

• Valid working with children card (Ochre Card)
• Completion of a national police check application form before starting employment

• Base salary of $74,535.17 to $81,898.07 depending on experience
