About the role
Join the NSW Health Pathology team at Auburn District Hospital and contribute to high‑quality pathology services that impact patients daily. You will work in a collaborative environment with opportunities to develop technical skills and support continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a range of manual and automated laboratory investigations and tests following established methods.
- Prepare materials, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with laboratory processes, procedures and protocols.
Required profile
- Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification with pathology‑relevant subjects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering pathology services, including use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems and Quality Systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously and as part of a team, and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems.
- Knowledge of quality management and continuous improvement principles in a pathology laboratory.
