Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an innovative product development team. You will be involved in designing, developing and testing new products from concept through to production, working closely with experienced engineers and researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and assemblies from concept to manufacture.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings using Solid Edge, SolidWorks or similar software.
• Build, assemble and test prototypes to validate designs.
• Perform engineering calculations, design analysis and GD&T checks.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are scalable and production‑ready.
• Prepare engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, DFMEAs and risk assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement across products, equipment and engineering processes.
• Work with R&D, Production and Quality teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical product design.
• Hands‑on approach to prototype assembly and testing.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
