Massage Therapist – Contract Position

About the role
Our Lifecare team in Langwarrin is expanding and seeks a qualified Massage Therapist on a contract basis. You will deliver holistic, integrated care to clients, enhancing mobility, independence and overall wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Assess symptoms and medical history, make diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Manipulate muscles and soft tissues to improve movement and reduce pain.
- Educate clients on therapy, stretching, strengthening and posture improvement.
- Set goals, provide guidance on exercises and refer to physiotherapy or exercise physiology when needed.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other health professionals, documenting progress and monitoring outcomes.
Required profile
- Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy.
- Current Medibank Private and other private health registration.
- Valid ABN or ACN and appropriate professional insurance.
