Marketing Manager – New Opening in Sydney

About the role

The Marketing Manager will lead all local marketing activities for Chotto Matte’s brand‑new restaurant in Bondi, Sydney. Working closely with the global marketing team, you will shape the pre‑opening strategy, build brand awareness and drive guest acquisition for this high‑energy Japanese‑Peruvian fusion venue.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for the Sydney launch, ensuring alignment with global brand standards.
• Execute Australian‑wide initiatives across press, digital media, events and sales to support the new location.
• Lead pre‑opening campaigns, go‑to‑market strategy, launch planning and local brand positioning.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, the sales team and external partners to maximise revenue and engagement.
• Oversee social‑media strategy, content calendars, publishing and performance optimisation across platforms.
• Work with PR agencies to secure media coverage, organise press previews and amplify key moments.
• Identify and manage strategic brand partnerships and influencer collaborations that enhance brand visibility.
• Manage campaign budgets, track performance metrics and report on ROI.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading marketing initiatives in the hospitality or restaurant sector.
• Strong ability to translate global brand guidelines into local market actions.
• Excellent project‑management skills with a track record of delivering launch campaigns on time and within budget.
• Proactive communicator comfortable engaging internal teams and external agencies.
