Manager Recreation, Environment & Facilities

About the role

Hilltops Council is recruiting a Manager Recreation, Environment & Facilities to lead its Recreation, Environment & Facilities division. The role leads the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of open spaces, environmental programs and facilities, and manages multidisciplinary teams. It sits in the Infrastructure Directorate and supports the delivery of the Council's Operational Plan and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of open spaces, environmental programs and facilities
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and oversee maintenance and capital works programs
• Provide specialist environmental advice across Council
• Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with legislative and community expectations

Required profile

• Experienced people leader with strong environmental or recreation-related expertise
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
