Manager, External Audit (Large and Complex) - Brisbane

About the role

Deloitte is looking for a manager to lead its external audit team in Brisbane. The team delivers audit and assurance services to ASX-listed, large-scale multinational and private equity clients across consumer, energy and resources, TMT, healthcare and construction. The manager leads engagement delivery, coaches and trains juniors, and works with directors and partners on innovation and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engagements for a wide range of clients
• Provide coaching and training to junior staff
• Lead the team and demonstrate expertise in auditing principles, practices and standards
• Take part in innovation and development, and work with directors and partners on applying the firm's methodology

Required profile

• 5 years' experience in external audit with managerial experience
• CA qualification (or equivalent)
• Bachelor's degree or above in accounting, commerce or a related field
• Professional services experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (preferred)
• Exposure to a variety of engagements and sectors, ideally listed companies
