M&A Tax Insurance Broker

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A tax specialist to join a growing UK‑headquartered insurance broker expanding its transactional risk business in Australia. As a Tax Insurance Broker you will act as an independent intermediary, representing the interests of investors, funds, private equity firms, banks and corporations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic tax advice and design bespoke insurance solutions for M&A transactions.
• Structure and negotiate insurance arrangements that mitigate tax and transactional risks.
• Manage relationships with clients, insurers, legal advisers and other stakeholders, ensuring impartial representation.
• Develop new business opportunities through client engagement and networking.
• Stay up‑to‑date with relevant tax legislation and insurance market developments.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional currently employed in a reputable accountancy practice, law firm or in‑house tax team.
• Deep knowledge of M&A tax issues and experience delivering technical tax work.
• Strong appetite for client interaction and business development.
• No prior insurance experience required, but a willingness to learn the insurance brokerage environment.
