About the role
HammondCare is looking for a Lolly Trolley Volunteer to bring smiles to residents of its residential aged care home in Scone. You will take a trolley of sweets around the home on regular visits, sharing treats such as jelly beans and musk sticks to brighten each resident's day. As a social visitor, you help improve quality of life and reduce isolation.
Key responsibilities
- Take a trolley of sweets around the aged care home during regular visits
- Share treats with residents to bring them joy and laughter
- Act as a social visitor, helping people feel less isolated
Required profile
- 18 years or older
- NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
- Available between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday; a suitable day and time can be discussed with the volunteer coordinator
