About the role

Join Thales' Explosive Ordnance Services team in Townsville, supporting the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of critical systems. This position offers a hands‑on opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of defence logistics and grow within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Mark and place stores in stock and package items for dispatch.
• Participate in the movement of stores by road and within the depot.
• Monitor shelf life of stores and assist with audits and inspections.
• Operate information systems to input and retrieve stores data.
• Maintain awareness of health and safety goals and promote a safe workplace.

Required profile

• Full driver’s licence.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent attention to detail with good numeric, oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in a warehousing or defence environment is advantageous.
