Logistics Manager

About the role

Sleep Collective is looking for a practical and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee freight, warehousing and distribution across its portfolio of brands. This hands‑on role ensures products move reliably from order fulfilment through dispatch, delivery and returns while guiding operational change and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily freight bookings, carrier allocation, dispatch priorities and delivery exceptions.
• Manage day‑to‑day performance of distribution centres and third‑party logistics providers, including receiving, storage, stock accuracy, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Hold freight carriers and warehouse partners accountable for service, cost, accuracy, reporting and issue resolution.
• Monitor logistics spend, cost per shipment and logistics costs relative to sales, and report monthly on performance metrics.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in freight, warehousing, transport, distribution or logistics operations.
• Experience managing freight carriers, warehouses and third‑party logistics providers.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch, delivery management, stock movements and physical returns.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve delivery failures, stock discrepancies, damage claims and operational exceptions.

Required skills

• Confidence using order‑management, inventory and reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and practical problem‑solving capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
