About the role

Shine Lawyers is seeking a Legal Practice Leader for its Medical Law team in Darwin. You will lead the pursuit of justice for clients affected by medical negligence, managing a diverse caseload while supporting complex abuse law and public liability claims.

Key responsibilities

Provide legal advice and representation to obtain compensation for clients.
Progress and resolve medical negligence and personal injury claims.
Draft precise legal documentation and manage files with commercial awareness.
Develop strong client relationships, communicate effectively, and manage expectations.
Mentor and support junior team members.

Required profile

Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate.
Proven success litigating personal injury matters.
Ability to interpret relevant legislation and legal documents.
Maturity to handle clients experiencing trauma.
Commitment to teamwork, challenging the status quo, and contributing to a positive culture.
