About the role
Shine Lawyers is seeking a Legal Practice Leader for its Medical Law team in Darwin. You will lead the pursuit of justice for clients affected by medical negligence, managing a diverse caseload while supporting complex abuse law and public liability claims.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and representation to obtain compensation for clients.
- Progress and resolve medical negligence and personal injury claims.
- Draft precise legal documentation and manage files with commercial awareness.
- Develop strong client relationships, communicate effectively, and manage expectations.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate.
- Proven success litigating personal injury matters.
- Ability to interpret relevant legislation and legal documents.
- Maturity to handle clients experiencing trauma.
- Commitment to teamwork, challenging the status quo, and contributing to a positive culture.
