Legal Assistant / Paralegal – Family Law Firm

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join our growing family law practice on the Northern Beaches. This full‑time position offers the chance to work alongside specialist family lawyers in a supportive, high‑energy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create court documents, briefs and position papers.
• Assist lawyers with file preparation and management.
• Interact with clients, manage diaries and liaise with other firms and professionals.
• Handle e‑filing, typing, document collation and general file management.
• Perform computer and data entry tasks, photocopying, scanning and other day‑to‑day office duties.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a law firm (family law experience preferred but not essential).
• Keen to learn, resourceful and reliable.
• Cheerful, enthusiastic and passionate about the work.
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
• A team player with a positive mindset and good sense of humour.
