About the role
The organisation is expanding its Australian and New Zealand operations and needs a Legal Counsel to manage commercial and privacy matters. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will work in a small, fast‑paced team handling a wide range of transactional work.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as customer agreements, supplier contracts and service agreements.
- Provide regulatory compliance advice, manage legal disputes and support risk‑management activities.
- Assist with corporate governance, intellectual property, data protection, privacy and marketing legal issues.
- Support strategic objectives across tenders, transactions, sourcing, funding and marketing matters.
Required profile
- 3‑6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or in‑house legal team.
- Strong background in general corporate and commercial contracts.
- Experience with privacy and data‑protection matters.
- Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
