Landscape Architect – Urban Projects

About the role

AECOM’s Urbanism and Planning team in Brisbane is seeking a motivated Landscape Architect to work on public realm, infrastructure and new community projects. The role blends concept development, detailed design and project delivery within a collaborative multidisciplinary studio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop landscape architecture concepts from early master‑planning through detailed design and documentation.
• Prepare high‑quality drawings, plans, specifications and presentation material using design and modelling software.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners and other disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Manage own tasks, meet deadlines and contribute to project coordination, client requirements and design reviews.

Required profile

• Degree or Master’s in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• 2–3 years post‑graduate experience in a multidisciplinary design or consulting environment.
• Strong design capability and attention to detail.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude with excellent communication skills.

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Microsoft Office
• SketchUp, Lumion or 3D AutoCAD (advantageous)
