Key Account Manager – Rheumatology (NSW South)

About the role

This position is with a global biopharmaceutical company focused on innovative treatments in immunology. You will build trusted partnerships with rheumatologists and other healthcare professionals across NSW South, ensuring patients receive the right therapeutic support at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with rheumatologists and relevant HCPs.
• Understand patient journeys, treatment landscapes and unmet needs within the territory.
• Create and execute tailored territory and account plans based on stakeholder insights.
• Identify key influencers and opportunities across the broader healthcare ecosystem.
• Leverage clinical and therapeutic knowledge to provide value to HCPs.
• Work closely with medical, commercial and cross‑functional teams to drive patient‑focused and commercial outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven track record in specialist pharmaceutical sales and account management.
• Experience in rheumatology, immunology or related therapeutic areas is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare environment and ability to navigate complex stakeholder groups.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strategic planning and commercial acumen.
• Collaborative, self‑starting attitude with ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Deep clinical and therapeutic knowledge in rheumatology/immunology.
• Ability to translate scientific information into meaningful conversations with HCPs.
