About the role
Our client, a leading independent corporate advisory firm in Sydney, is expanding its mid-market M&A team for 2026. The Investment Banking Associate will work on a high-volume pipeline, supporting both domestic and cross-border transactions across technology, healthcare, industrials, financial services and consumer sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Lead workstreams in due diligence, financial modelling and valuation.
- Manage data rooms and ensure accurate documentation throughout the deal process.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch decks and information memoranda.
- Interact directly with clients and senior bankers to drive deal execution.
- Support the coordination of transaction logistics and post-deal integration activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of end-to-end M&A experience, preferably from a global investment bank or boutique advisory firm.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, strategic and ownership-driven attitude.
- Commitment to a long-term career in investment banking.
