Industry Director, Resources

About the role

Aurecon is seeking an Industry Director for its Resources team in Australia. In this senior position you will drive market‑facing growth, shape client strategies and lead the delivery of sustainable, profitable outcomes across the resources sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute industry strategies that build a strong pipeline and deliver ambitious New Work Secured outcomes.
• Build and nurture executive relationships with senior clients, partners and industry participants, positioning Aurecon as a Tier 1 partner.
• Identify, prioritize and lead major pursuits, converting market insight into measurable revenue and backlog.
• Lead strategic client portfolios and multidisciplinary Client Engagement Teams to solve complex challenges.
• Inspire and align cross‑functional teams, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering significant revenue or New Work Secured outcomes.
• Established senior client relationships within the Resources sector.
• Experience in consulting or professional services with strong bid and pursuit leadership.
• Deep understanding of Resources market trends, value chains, regulation and competitive landscape.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence without direct authority.
