Hub Coordinator – Footscray Hospital

About the role

Compass Group Australia is delivering support services at the new Footscray Hospital, one of Victoria's largest health infrastructure projects, which is a public hospital with clinical services provided by Western Health. The Hub Coordinator acts as the central point of coordination for hospital operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the central point of coordination for hospital operations
• Manage bed allocation and transfers to ensure smooth patient flow
• Monitor and manage resource availability, including staff and equipment
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Assist in planning and improving workflows for better efficiency

Required profile

• Proven experience in a healthcare or hospital setting, preferably in coordination or administration
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with various teams and departments
• Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance

Required skills

• Familiarity with hospital management systems or similar software
• Understanding of hospital protocols and healthcare compliance standards
