Sponsored Students Officer

About the role

The Sponsored Students Officer supports the sponsored student team in the effective and efficient administration of the sponsored students' program for the University. The position assists with the administration of all operational aspects of the program as set out in sponsor agreements and sponsorship terms and conditions, playing a support role across administration tasks, record keeping and student enquiries. It is advertised as an ANU Officer 5 (Administration) position in Canberra.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sponsored student team in administering the sponsored students' program
• Handle administrative tasks related to sponsor agreements and sponsorship terms and conditions
• Contribute to record keeping and respond to student enquiries

Required profile

• Preferred candidate must have the right to live and work in Australia
• Must complete mandatory pre-employment declarations and background checks in line with the university's procedures
• Applications must include a statement addressing the selection criteria and a CV with at least three referees; applications that do not address the selection criteria may not be considered

What we offer

• Salary package of $89,760 - $97,918 per annum plus 17% superannuation
• Part of a dedicated sponsored student-facing team, working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Term: one full-time continuing position and one full-time fixed-term position until 24 August 2027; part-time will be considered
