HSEQ Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an HSEQ Advisor to join our team in Doncaster on a full‑time basis, reporting to the Regional HSEQ Manager. The role supports day‑to‑day HSEQ activities across concrete plants, quarries, workshops, laboratories and customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice and coaching to site managers on risk identification, assessment and control in line with the Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS).
• Conduct formal audits and informal interactions to engage front‑line personnel and demonstrate leadership on site.
• Report on conformance levels, support continuous improvement, and assist with HSEQ training delivery.
• Maintain records of employee and contractor training, competency assessments, skills and qualifications.
• Lead investigations of HSE incidents and support site leaders with HSEQ material at meetings.
• Assist front‑line leaders with injury management and coordinate rehabilitation with WorkCover VIC.
• Analyse data to recommend actions for non‑compliance and ensure timely closure of HSEQ database events.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication aligned with company values of Care, Collaboration and Ownership.
• Minimum 2 years of dedicated WHS/Environment coordination experience, preferably in a high‑risk or quarry environment.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive transformational change.
• Certificate 4 or higher in OHS/WHS; Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment preferred.
• Lead Auditor and ICAM Lead Investigator qualifications are advantageous.
• Reliable, independent worker with a positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SAP or similar database systems (highly desirable).
