HSE Systems Coordinator

About the role

The HSE Systems Coordinator supports the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety & Environment management systems for Heidelberg Materials Australia, based in Brisbane or Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve WHS management systems, ensuring reliability, usability and compliance.
• Manage system access, user permissions, data integrity and security across safety platforms.
• Produce compliance reports, audit documentation, safety dashboards and performance insights.
• Support incident reporting, ISO management systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Maintain safety documentation, policies, procedures and document control processes.
• Provide system support and guidance to users across the business.
• Partner with operational leaders and external providers to enhance safety systems and reporting capability.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve safety performance and strengthen safety culture.

Required profile

• Experience in a WHS, compliance, systems coordination or similar role.
• Working knowledge of WHS legislation, management systems and audit processes.
• Full Australian working rights and willingness to travel occasionally.

Required skills

• Strong systems administration and reporting capabilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with SharePoint, Power BI and/or DoneSafe.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data.
