HR Manager - Fuels Australia

About the role

Bureau Veritas Fuels Australia is looking for an HR Manager to act as a catalyst and consultant for business leaders, delivering a professional HR service. The role focuses on retaining and attracting the best people, reducing attrition and building an inclusive culture, while advising on performance, succession and development.

Key responsibilities

• Give senior-level HR advice and coaching to business leaders and review talent, succession and development plans, including underperformance management
• Use the HRIS and HR Shared Services models, and maintain a commercial view of people practices
• Work with the recruitment team on workforce planning, recruitment quality, resource forecasting and on-boarding
• Run engagement activities, design training needs and run the employee engagement survey with follow-up action planning
• Lead HR projects such as engagement, diversity and inclusion, CSR and HR process digitalisation
• Manage complex workplace investigations and employee relations, including enterprise bargaining and union engagement, and support compliance with Australian workplace legislation
• Drive performance management, feedback culture and change management, and ensure policies are followed

Required profile

• Extensive business and HR experience
• Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations and industrial relations matters, including enterprise bargaining preparation and union engagement
• Good understanding of employment legislation and policy
• Commercial awareness and strong communication and presentation skills
