Health Architect – Brisbane

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Health Architect to join its Brisbane team and contribute to the planning, design and delivery of major health projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will work alongside experienced architects, designers and multidisciplinary project teams on hospital redevelopments, specialist treatment centres, community health and aged‑care facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, design and documentation of health and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare architectural drawings, 3‑D models, presentations and other project deliverables.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, engineers and technical specialists throughout all project stages.
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings and stakeholder workshops.
• Conduct research, site analysis, feasibility assessments and design development.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation that meets client outcomes, budget and schedule requirements.
• Develop an understanding of healthcare planning principles and health‑facility design standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architectural Design, Master of Architecture or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Demonstrated interest in architecture, healthcare design, urban environments or the built environment sector.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
