Architectural Technician / Revit Model Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician with deep Revit expertise to join Cottee Parker Architects. The role combines hands‑on architectural documentation with ownership of project Revit models, supporting teams and maintaining BIM standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate architectural drawings, models, schedules and documentation across project stages.
• Set up, maintain and monitor Revit project models, ensuring model health, performance and integrity.
• Coordinate architectural models with consultant and external discipline models, supporting clash detection and resolution.
• Provide Revit troubleshooting, workflow guidance and best‑practice advice to project teams.
• Maintain consistency in families, templates, naming conventions and project standards, and support model audits and quality reviews.

Required profile

• 5+ years Australian experience as an Architectural Technician, BIM Technician, Revit Technician or similar.
• Strong technical and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify model or documentation issues early.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities, and confidence in guiding other Revit users.
• Relevant architectural, drafting or building design qualification, or equivalent industry experience, and permanent work rights in Australia.
