Head of Market Access ANZ

About the role

Viatris is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Market Access to lead market access efforts across Australia and New Zealand. The role will shape and execute pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies for innovative medicines throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead integrated market access strategies for Australia and New Zealand across all therapeutic areas.
• Oversee submissions to PBAC, MSAC, PHARMAC and other pricing/reimbursement bodies, ensuring compliance.
• Shape price governance, reimbursement conditions and value frameworks aligned with global objectives.
• Monitor competitor reimbursement activities and market trends to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Commercial, Policy, Health Economics and Global Pricing teams for access readiness.
• Lead market access representation on local launch teams and adapt global value dossiers to local requirements.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, health economics, public health or related field.
• 8–10 years of market access and health economics experience in Australia and/or New Zealand, including PBAC/MSAC and PHARMAC submissions.
• Strong understanding of HEOR principles and their application in local reimbursement contexts.
• Proven success in developing and executing market access strategies for innovative medicines.
• In‑depth knowledge of local healthcare systems, reimbursement frameworks and policy trends.
