Head of Finance

About the role

Lanolips is seeking a commercially‑minded Head of Finance to partner with the CEO, General Manager and Board as the business enters its next phase of growth. This hands‑on leadership position combines strategic financial oversight with operational involvement across a global beauty and skincare brand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, developing robust 12‑month financial plans and clear growth assumptions.
• Build and enhance commercial analytics capabilities, providing visibility across sales, product, channel and customer performance.
• Oversee the finance function end‑to‑end while managing production and logistics teams to ensure alignment between financial performance and operational execution.
• Support the CEO, General Manager and Board with strategic financial insights and decision‑making.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years of experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
• Experience in a private‑equity‑backed or high‑growth environment, including exposure to funding rounds, acquisitions or sale processes.
• Strong background in an inventory‑led business, preferably within beauty, fashion or FMCG, with solid understanding of supply chains, inventory management and wholesale operations.
• Comfortable operating across global markets, managing international supply chains and offshore sourcing.
• Proactive self‑starter who challenges the status quo and continuously seeks improvement.
• Technology‑forward mindset, comfortable implementing new systems, automation and AI‑driven solutions.
• Commercial, hands‑on and detail‑oriented with a calm, pragmatic approach in fast‑paced environments.
