Head Chef - Mexican Cuisine

About the role

Artemus Group is looking for a Head Chef with strong Mexican experience to lead its Mexican offering. The role suits someone who knows traditional Mexican techniques and ingredients, loves bold flavours and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will have real ownership of the menu, with rotating menu changes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all culinary operations for the Mexican offering
• Develop, refine and rotate the menu
• Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard of quality and presentation
• Run efficient, high-volume service
• Manage stock, ordering and food costs while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

Required profile

• 3+ years' experience as a Chef or Senior Cook, with deep knowledge of traditional Mexican techniques and ingredients
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced service; food trailer or mobile catering experience is a bonus
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays, and comfort working in hot, compact conditions lifting up to 20 kg
