Guest Service Agent (Reception) - Casual & Part Time

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for dedicated and dynamic casual and part-time Guest Service Agents to join its team at ibis budget Sydney Airport. You will support the Front Desk Team and help ensure guest needs are met with exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service
• Assist guests with enquiries and complaints and give accurate information
• Check guests in and out accurately and on time
• Take reservations as required
• Answer all telephone calls professionally
• Reconcile cashier floats, transactions and account changes, collect payments and issue receipts
• Keep guest details up to date in the PMS system
• Action special requests promptly and keep the front desk clean and well presented
• Share relevant information between departments

Required profile

• Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster
• Current and valid RSA card in NSW
• Well-presented, able to build rapport in person and by phone
• Strong focus on hotel operations and excellent customer service
• Self-motivated, positive and professional attitude
• Proven ability to manage time, multi-task, work under pressure and think on your feet
