Group Accounts Payable Officer (Part‑time)

About the role

The Group Accounts Payable Officer will manage end‑to‑end invoice processing for six entities within the Red Invest Group. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this part‑time position offers exposure to a fast‑growing Indigenous‑owned business portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, code and match supplier and subcontractor invoices in EzzyBills and Xero.
• Allocate job‑costed invoices to the appropriate WorkflowMax jobs and cost centres.
• Drive the approval workflow, routing invoices to the correct approvers and maintaining a current queue.
• Prepare weekly payment runs, compile supporting reports and present them to the CFO for authorisation.
• Maintain supplier master data, including new set‑ups and bank‑detail changes.
• Reconcile monthly supplier statements and resolve ageing items.
• Act as the first point of contact for supplier payment queries.
• Contribute to the review and improvement of finance systems and AP processes.

Required profile

• Solid experience in accounts payable, preferably within construction, engineering or related sectors.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
