Assistant Manager – Business & Private Banking (South Australia)

About the role

ANZ is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Business & Private Bank in South Australia (Gawler). The role supports the delivery of strategic and operational priorities across commercial and private banking segments, helping drive performance and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, planning and facilitation of business initiatives across segments or countries.
• Assist with the execution of business initiatives and manage ad‑hoc requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, business leaders and peers.
• Provide analytical support for leadership forums and committees, including risk committees.
• Manage issues across different business areas and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability with experience analysing large data sets.
• Proven capability to execute improvements, navigate organisational processes and overcome obstacles.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a fast‑moving workload.
• High energy, curiosity, self‑motivation and initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Agribusiness experience preferred; prior banking experience preferred.
