Assistant Manager – Business & Private Banking (Perth)

About the role

ANZ is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Business & Private Banking team in Perth. Working closely with a Senior Relationship Manager, you will support a portfolio of customers in the health and property sectors, helping to grow the business while maintaining strong risk controls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of customers' business and financial needs.
• Act in the best interest of customers, providing suitable products and services.
• Provide appropriate solutions for account maintenance and customer requirements.
• Maintain a well‑managed, compliant portfolio.
• Control workflows across compliance and customer fulfilment processes.
• Collaborate with product partners and internal stakeholders to meet customer needs.

Required profile

• Ability to manage strong customer relationships and resolve service queries.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer assistance.
• Attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.
• Capability to assess a customer's credit obligations using qualitative and quantitative factors.
• Strong financial literacy and analytical ability.
