Graduate R&D Consultant

About the role

Acclime is seeking a Graduate R&D Consultant to join its R&D tax team. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work with a diverse client base across Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, with the flexibility to work remotely when appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in determining eligibility of R&D activities.
• Draft summary reports that describe proposed R&D projects and technical details.
• Conduct regular reviews of clients' R&D activities and related expenditure.
• Prepare R&D expenditure calculations.
• Prepare and submit official applications to AusIndustry.
• Liaise with AusIndustry and the Australian Taxation Office as required.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting, law, engineering, IT, life sciences, mathematics or a related field.
• High level of computer literacy, especially proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication, strong attention to detail and a diligent work ethic.
• Ability to think laterally and develop creative solutions.
• Strong organisational skills and capacity to manage competing priorities.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
