Graduate Engineer – Water Resources

About the role

We are looking for a recent graduate to join our Water Resources team on an immediate start. You will work on surface‑water projects across New South Wales and support the wider ANZ business, developing a long‑term career with a leading engineering consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct flood studies and assessments, including evaluation of mitigation options.
• Perform water‑balance, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with multidisciplinary project team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or equivalent.
• Familiarity with modelling software such as hydrological modelling tools, 2D Tuflow, HEC‑RAS and Source modelling.
• Some exposure to 12D or Drains stormwater assessments.
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to work within task timelines and budgets.
• Proven ability to write technical reports and communicate in a diverse, multi‑disciplinary environment.
