General Manager – Quality, Risk & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced senior leader to head Quality, Risk and Compliance across our community services, disability, aged care and commercial operations. Based at our corporate head office in Elsternwick, you will partner with executive and operational leaders to embed robust governance and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise governance, quality, risk and compliance strategy, aligning it with organisational growth and regulatory obligations.
• Provide trusted advice to executive leaders on governance maturity, enterprise risk and compliance performance.
• Establish and embed assurance frameworks that promote accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.
• Oversee integrated quality, risk and compliance systems to ensure audit readiness and consistent regulatory compliance.
• Maintain enterprise risk registers, controls and reporting to support informed decision‑making.
• Lead organisational responses to critical incidents, complaints, systemic issues and audit findings, ensuring effective remediation and learning.
• Deliver clear reporting on quality, risk and compliance performance to executive stakeholders and governance committees.
• Build organisational capability by partnering with leaders to embed practical governance, quality and risk practices.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with regulators and external stakeholders to maintain compliance.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in governance, risk, quality and compliance within regulated environments.
• Ability to navigate complex organisational structures and influence decision‑making at all levels.
• Strong judgement to balance governance requirements with operational realities.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
