General Manager, Portfolio & Analytics

About the role

ACCIONA Energía is building a sophisticated portfolio analytics, valuation and market risk function from the ground up. As General Manager, Portfolio & Analytics you will own the market view, define risk frameworks and provide the evidence base for major decisions across Australia and Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Define the market view that underpins pricing, valuation and investment decisions.
• Build and lead a best‑practice portfolio analytics and risk management function.
• Lead forecasting, valuation and scenario modelling across the renewable energy portfolio.
• Provide trusted advice on offtake, hedging, acquisitions and new development opportunities.
• Influence executive and Board decisions through clear, evidence‑based insights.

Required profile

• Significant experience in energy markets, portfolio management, market risk, trading or revenue modelling within the NEM.
• Deep knowledge of wholesale electricity markets and renewable energy revenue drivers.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to translate complex analysis into clear business decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel modelling.
• Python or R programming.
• SQL and market modelling tools.
