General Manager - Hospitality Group (Manly)

About the role

An established hospitality group is seeking a General Manager to oversee a busy, multifaceted operation in Manly, covering dining, drinks, entertainment and functions. The role connects the whole operation, gives managers clear direction and keeps the guest experience consistent as trade grows.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, structure and empower the management team so they can run great shifts
• Use financial results to spot opportunities and turn them into action
• Keep staffing, purchasing and stock management aligned with business needs
• Build trade through functions, entertainment and fresh reasons for guests to visit
• Work with chefs and beverage leaders to maintain quality and consistency
• Keep communication flowing between the venues and group support teams
• Create a workplace with clear expectations where good people want to stay
• Maintain safe, compliant and well-organised operations

Required profile

• Experience managing significant turnover, leading managers and taking responsibility for financial outcomes
• A background combining food, beverage and events is particularly relevant
• Approachable, decisive and comfortable having the conversations that help people improve
• Enjoys a busy floor, takes pride in the details and pays attention to budget reviews

Required skills

• Interest in beer and a strong understanding of beverage operations
• Sound knowledge of NSW licensing requirements
