Full-Time Sales Assistant

About the role

The Salvation Army’s Salvos Stores are seeking a values‑driven Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager in daily operations and deliver an inspiring in‑store experience for customers and the community. This is a permanent full‑time position based in Hilton, SA.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with retail sales and operate Point‑of‑Sale devices.
• Collect, sort and price donations in store.
• Support visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and display stock according to policy.
• Follow occupational health and safety procedures and demonstrate core values.

Required profile

• Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
• Alignment with values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration and diversity.
• High energy, hands‑on attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a rolling roster including weekends and across various locations.
