Flexible Westwards Nursing & Midwifery Roles – Part/Full Time

About the role

Western Health is recruiting experienced Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives and Enrolled Nurses for its Westwards program – a flexible, permanent workforce initiative that supports both metropolitan and rural‑regional health services across Victoria.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence‑based, person‑centred care in a variety of clinical settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Adapt quickly to diverse environments while maintaining professional standards.
• Participate in supported secondments to partner health services as part of the Westwards roster.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration for the relevant nursing or midwifery discipline.
• Adaptable, resilient and confident working across metropolitan, rural and regional sites.
• Willingness to work a 7‑day rotating roster and undertake ongoing secondments.

Required skills

• Clinical competence in nursing or midwifery practice.
• Ability to follow evidence‑based protocols and guidelines.
