Financial Controller – $250‑260K package + 20% bonus

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function of a fast‑growing technology distribution business across the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to the Divisional CFO, you will own the end‑to‑end financial control environment as the organisation undergoes a strategic transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close and consolidation for multiple APAC entities, ensuring accurate reporting to group systems.
• Lead balance‑sheet governance, performing reconciliations, risk analysis and delivering a “no‑surprise” balance sheet each period.
• Oversee statutory reporting in compliance with AIFRS, ASIC and US GAAP requirements.
• Provide technical accounting guidance, including new standard adoption and M&A accounting support.
• Maintain and enhance SOX‑based internal controls across key financial processes.
• Direct a team of ~20 finance professionals, including two Senior Accounting Managers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial control, consolidation and statutory reporting within a multi‑entity, APAC‑focused organisation.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams through periods of rapid change and growth.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate financial risks.
