Financial Analyst – Commercial Finance & Valuation

About the role

We are a private‑equity backed group close to $1 billion in revenue, expanding nationally. The Finance Reporting Manager and Group Financial Controller are seeking a Financial Analyst to turn raw data into actionable insights, supporting forecasting, valuation and commercial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare forecast models in consultation with department heads and finance business partners.
• Support the annual budgeting process through to board submission.
• Maintain and enhance the group strategy valuation model, including re‑forecasts, scenario analysis and debt‑covenant sensitivities.
• Conduct feasibility studies for growth initiatives.
• Extract and connect data using Power Query and build reporting for corporate and site leadership.
• Provide insight on key business drivers together with finance partners and analytics team.
• Deliver ad‑hoc month‑end support and translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for non‑finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability and excellent communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities without compromising quality.
• Technical foundation in advanced Excel modelling; CA or CPA qualification is advantageous.
