Finance Officer

About the role

We are looking for experienced Finance Officers to join the ATO Finance Business line. In this role you will support a range of financial management and tax accounting activities, helping business areas deliver high‑quality financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial and taxation data, identify issues and apply policies and procedures.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, reports and manage banking relationships.
• Support financial statement preparation, month‑end journals and accruals.
• Contribute to corporate budgeting, resource allocation and strategic financial reporting.
• Maintain finance systems, including SAP, and ensure compliance with legislation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting and reporting.
• Strong analytical judgement and ability to work to legislative and policy requirements.
• Effective workload management and collaborative teamwork.
