- Lead, mentor and manage a project team, oversee on-site installation and communicate timeframes to internal stakeholders.
- Work with subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and inspect installations locally and internationally; weekly travel to local sites is required, with occasional overseas travel.
- Conduct project reviews, prepare reports and manage financial aspects including invoicing and progress claims.
- Coordinate with drafting teams and structural engineers on installation phasing plans and give expert feedback on design elements.
- Ensure designs are coordinated, fit for purpose and compliant with contractual obligations, and deliver defect-free products.
Required profile
- Previous experience delivering façade systems including commercial windows and doors, high-rise residential systems and architectural metalwork.
- Experience managing the full project lifecycle: design input, procurement, fabrication, logistics and site installation.
- Proven ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects on programme, budget, quality and safety.
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, offshore drafting and fabrication teams and internal stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, or a trade qualification in commercial construction.
- Current passport and driver's licence, and willingness to travel regularly to project sites across South East Queensland, with occasional overseas travel.
Required skills
- Project margin, variation, claims, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of the National Construction Code, relevant legislation and Australian Standards.
- Site measuring, drawing interpretation and sketching bespoke fabrication solutions.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; experience with Jobpac is highly regarded.
What we offer
- Career pathways, coaching and in-house learning programs.
- Flexible leave including birthday leave, leave purchasing options and paid parental and secondary carer's leave.
- Fitness Passport, group fitness training, an annual health and fitness subsidy and an Employee Assistance Program.
- Workplace banking access and an employee discounts portal with 1,000+ offers.
