Experienced Site Manager – Residential Construction

About the role

Rawson Homes is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on‑site activities for residential projects across the ACT. You will be responsible for delivering homes safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while coordinating teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Control and lead on‑site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure day‑to‑day operations run smoothly and according to schedule.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Issue directives to correct defective work and manage vendor stop‑payments until issues are resolved.
• Plan and execute work to meet established timelines.
• Proactively resolve build issues and liaise closely with clients.
• Guarantee a high standard of finish and defect‑free handover.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations and WHS legislation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a building supervisor or site manager.
• Extensive exposure to trades, suppliers and client interactions.
• General Construction Induction Course / White Card (mandatory).
• Asbestos & Silica Awareness Certificate (mandatory).
• Current First Aid training.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence (mandatory).
• Professional communication skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and conflict resolution.
