Executive Officer (Digital Health and Innovation)

About the role

Griffith University is seeking an experienced Executive Officer to provide high-level strategic, operational, project and systems support to the Director of Digital Health and Innovation. The role works across digital health education, research, innovation and workforce capability, helping coordinate portfolio priorities and keeping track of key deliverables, risks, issues and opportunities. It sits within the Pro Vice Chancellor (Health) area and works with Griffith Health and the wider University.

Key responsibilities

• Translate strategic priorities into structured implementation activities and coordinate complex projects and stakeholder input.
• Monitor progress and deliverables, and prepare briefings, reports and recommendations for decision-making.
• Develop and improve systems, workflows, reporting and governance processes.
• Contribute to strategic planning, accreditation and assurance, continuous improvement, partnership development and the Health Group's digital health agenda.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification with at least four years' relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of skills, knowledge and experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders and coordinating complex initiatives in a large organisation.
• Sound working knowledge of the digital health environment and its use in education, research, innovation or workforce capability.
• Experience supporting strategic planning, accreditation, assurance, evaluation or continuous improvement.
• Unrestricted working rights; visa sponsorship is not available.

Required skills

• Project and implementation coordination, including competing priorities, timelines, risks and deliverables.
• Analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write briefings, reports and presentations for senior leaders.
• Ability to build and improve systems, procedures, workflows and governance processes.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication with academic, professional, clinical, technical and external stakeholders.

What we offer

• Full-time position at the Gold Coast campus, with possible travel to other locations.
• HEW Level 7 base salary of $104,504 - $113,219 per year plus 17% superannuation (total package $122,270 - $132,466).
• 50% fee discount for work-related postgraduate degrees, mix of on-campus and work-from-home options, salary packaging and health discounts.
